This is the repository for the current beta version of Sherpa, which incorporates the latest changes & improvements.
Remember: these are beta versions, so while they are more up to date they are also (at least potentially)
less stable than the current full version. Please report any problems or bugs to me at
taylora@hairyfatguy.com so that I can
correct them as soon as possible.
A full registration number (not a demo number) is required to use Sherpa beta versions.
This beta version currently contains just the core Sherpa lite sequence manipulation
functionality plus a new rewrite of the Openended Search. The Openended Search is now
threaded; allowing you to continue to work while the search is in progress.
This is a beta version (available as FAT binary - which runs natively on both 68K and
PPC processors) that will expire at the end of July 2000.
